Your voice. Your data. Your terms.

You're sharing your voice with this app. We take that seriously. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what we don't do with it. If you find anything unclear, email support@selfmadesubliminals.com: we'd rather rewrite a sentence than have you wonder.

Your voice recordings stay on your device. They are never uploaded to our servers, never used to train models, never heard by another human.

1. Information we collect

Account information

When you sign in with Apple or email, we receive: your name (or the Hide-My-Email proxy), your email, and a unique account ID. We store these via Supabase, our authentication provider.

App data

The following lives in our database, tied to your account:

• Subliminal metadata only: title, category, ambient choice, listening minutes. Never the audio itself.
• Your archetype, archetype history, and quiz answers.
• Listening sessions (timestamps, durations) for your velocity statistics.
• Manifestation seal events (when you mark something as fulfilled, and the days elapsed).

Stays on your device, never uploaded

• Your voice recordings. Stored in iOS's app-private filesystem. Encrypted at rest.
• Photos and visualization images. Same.
• Sealed letters to your future self. Encrypted with AES-GCM using a key derived from your device.

2. How we use your information

We use your data to operate the app: keep you signed in, sync your library across your devices, calculate your manifestation velocity, surface Notice the Pattern interventions. We never use your data to advertise. We never sell it. We never share it with brokers.

We may use aggregated, fully anonymized statistics (e.g. "average days-to-first-manifestation across all users") in marketing, but never anything that identifies you.

3. Data storage and security

Account data is stored with Supabase in the United States, encrypted at rest and in transit (TLS 1.3). Voice recordings and photos never leave your device; if they did, we couldn't legally hear them anyway.

Payment information is handled entirely by Apple. We don't see your credit card. We get a subscription-status receipt via RevenueCat, nothing more.

4. Third-party services

• Apple: sign-in, payments, subscription management. Subject to Apple's privacy policy.
• Supabase: database and authentication. Supabase privacy.
• RevenueCat: receipt verification and entitlement state. RevenueCat privacy.

We do not use advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs that profile users, or cross-app tracking.

5. Your rights

You can, at any time:

• Access all the data we hold on you: email us and we'll send it within 30 days.
• Correct or update it.
• Delete your account and all server-side data. Use Settings → Delete Account in the app, or email us.
• Export your data in a machine-readable format.
• Opt out of aggregated analytics.

If you're in California, GDPR-covered Europe, or any jurisdiction with similar protections, these rights apply to you and we honor them the same way for everyone.

6. Children's privacy

SelfMade Subliminals is not for users under 13. We don't knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has signed up, email us and we'll delete the account immediately.

7. Changes to this policy

We'll update this page when our practice changes. If a change is material, we'll surface it in the app and email you. The "Last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version.
